Hi,

I have downloaded SDK version 1.19.5 and installed it successfully on my pc.

I am trying to follow the Tutorial Sample Application instructions at:
https://www.genvidtech.com/doc/SDK-1.19.5/samples/tutorial/tutorial_app.html
I could not find genvid-sdk in Genvid\Genvid Technologies SDK 1.19.5. Therefore, I was not able to perform the following steps:

genvid-sdk clean-config
genvid-sdk load-config-sdk

Then, I was able to load tutorial.py. When I try to build tutorial.py I get the error message states that Service consul is not running.

Did I miss a step somewhere? I suspect not having a genvid-sdk executable is the source of the problem, but I am not sure how to go about fixing the issue. Thanks in advance for your advice.

We apologize if our documentation is perhaps unclear with the steps required to run the Tutorial. We will review it and see how we may improve it in the future.

In regards to the issues mentioned, I suspect the source of it is due to the following:

Before you get started with configuring the cluster and loading the sample, you must follow the steps to set up the Local Environment and Starting the local cluster. This initial setup prepares the Bastion and Local Cluster so you may run the necessary commands to configure and load the sample.

After completing the above step, the other issues you encountered should no longer be present. Here is why:

• The genvid-sdk clean-config and genvid-sdk load-config-sdk cannot be found in the Genvid folder because they are command, not files.
• The error message about “Service Consul not running” is due to not having setup the Bastion.
